Hi,
My name is Connor Uhrig and I’m running for Sherwood’s Student Council Vice President.
You might be asking what makes me a viable candidate?
What would I do differently for Sherwood and what experience do I have to improve Sherwood?
These would all be excellent questions and I’m happy to explain to you why I would be the best candidate for Vice President at Sherwood.
Firstly, if you’re already here, then I would like to thank you for taking the time to check out my campaign.
I would be a great Vice President for Sherwood as I have been a part of Sherwood’s Student Council for two full years now.
From helping plan out Semi Formals to helping our council and students with technology issues, I have done it all.
Last year during Covid-19 I helped run our digital media and marketing team for Student Council which gave it my experience on how to assist with Council and how to lead our council with the school’s interest first.
I believe that everyone at Sherwood should have the chance to share their opinion and their views with our council and that starts with me.
If I get elected, I will ensure that we have a more connected way for students to share their ideas whether that be through a Teams Meeting, A quick email, or simply just reaching out to us in person.
I would also change how we coordinate our programs and events to ensure everyone knows what is going in Council and if other clubs and committees run events as part of our new one stop Sherwood Student Council.
